BananaBreadMuffin

1 terrabyte

Posted by BananaBreadMuffin Oct. 11, 2009 @ 4:39 PM EDT

320GB wasn't nearly enough, I merged libraries with my flatmate so now have 100GB of music, plus windows, documents, games, etc, so it was time to get a new drive, so I chose a Samsung F3 1TB SATA drive. It's glorious having so much space on here :).

Music of the week:
Little Boots - Remedy

.

Gorillaz - Kids With Guns (Hot Chip Remix)

.

Jaydiohead - Reckoner's Encore

.

Editors - Papillon

Hehe, you have a break in your Javascript there BBM.

Oh and 1TB is very nice. I have one myself. Its good knowing that you possibly will NEVER run out of space unless you cram it full of high GB things like games and/or some movies.

I still haven't broken a terrabyte yet

Bought a 500GB the other day...I'm making my way there.

How is the TB club?

I've got 1TB in mine. Along with a 30GB SSD for just Windows. It's nice. But at the moment I have, like, 800GB of free space on my 1TB because I keep all my music on my external 500 GB drive. But that's 3/4 full so I should just start using it for backup.

Oh, and you have 7. Lucky fuck. Hopefully I'll get Home Premium 64 bit on the 22nd. Lucky ass students and junk getting things early.

Hahah, it's certainly great being a student and getting freebies. But Windows 7 is the best of the best with regards to that. But at any rate I've had the release candidate since may (and only because I was too slow on the game to get into the beta), and that was free for everyone.

I was debating the RC for quite some time but decided not to get it until I knew there'd be support for the programs I use. Even though they said every program that worked on Vista will work with 7, they said something similar with XP and I had some troubles there. In retrospect they probably all should have worked fine. Bah. Fuck procrastination.
